My Google Drive is not showing up on my desktop. How can I fix it?

Firstly, click the system tray arrow in the bottom right of your screen. If you do not see the small Google Drive logo there ( shown below ), or the Google Drive logo is gray rather than colored, please proceed to the next step.

Press your windows key, search for task manager in the start menu and open it.

Once open, look for Google Drive. Click it once, then click "End task" in the top right. Wait a few seconds for it to disappear from the task list.

Once this has been done, press your windows key again and search for Google Drive. Open it.

After waiting for up to 1 minute, you should now see the colored Google Drive icon in your system tray. It should also show as an accessible drive from the file explorer. If you are still facing issues after following these instructions, please contact the IT department for assistance.
